Initial consultation is free: Visit to paint site, discussion. You or I may bring pictures to assist our description, to show styles, colors, ideas.
Line drawings are free. These drawings are designed to show placement and structure and are in no way indicative of final project detail or value, which can be determined through discussion and samples.
Color sketches (18" x 24", OPTIONAL) are $150 each and are indicative of detail and style as well as placement.
An estimate will accompany your sketches.
Once a design is selected, painting sessions can be scheduled. A $50 deposit is required at this time and will be applied towards the final balance. Please clear your space of any heavy furniture, breakables, and/or valuables.
Flat rate for wall murals: $40/hour
Flat rate for ceiling murals: $50/hour

Paints: charges are applied for any paints purchased specifically for your mural. I recycle and mix paints; you will not be charged for any paints from previous jobs that I may use towards your mural. You will have the option of retaining paints you have been charged for, or donating them to future mural work. Paint charges commonly range from $70 to $130.
I use acrylic latex interior wall paint for most murals. This paint dries in 1-3 hours, is washable when dry, and is water-soluble when wet. Airborne fumes/irritation are minimal.
Payment is due at the completion of each mural, or every Friday, in the case of extended mural projects.
Unusual Spaces
Spaces requiring additional scaffolding (areas over 12', high stairwells, etc.) will include a charge for scaffolding rental.
